This is the team page for the Connecticut Math Team. The team goes to the ARML (American Regions Math League) each year.
The 2025 ARML competition will take place on Saturday, May 31st. The Connecticut team will be taking part at the Penn State College location.
Our team will be selected by means of the CT ARML Qualification Test, which will take place online on Thursday, March 6th, 2025, from 4:15 PM until 6:30 PM. (The Qualification Test is taken remotely, from the student’s home. An image of the student’s work area is communicated via Zoom while the student works on paper. At the end of the test, the student submits his/her answers online. There will be more detailed instructions for those who register for the test.)
Registration for the 2025 CT ARML Qualification Test will open in early February, 2025. Access to a registration form will be provided on this page at that time.
The cost of this year’s trip to the ARML competition is expected to be around $80–$100. The expectation is that the fee will be covered by the participant or the participant’s parents. The low cost of the trip is made possible by the generous support of Hudson River Trading.

Saturday, May 10th, 2025, 9:00AM–12:00PM online: Team Selection Test 1, Team Round Practice, and Relay Practice
Saturday, May 17th, 2025, 9:00AM–12:00PM online: Team Selection Test 2 and Power Round Practice
Friday, May 30th, 2025, morning: Depart Connecticut on bus for Penn State
Saturday, May 31st, 2025: ARML Competition
Sunday, June 1st, 2025: afternoon: Return to Connecticut
